How do you embed a Google file instead of or in addition to a video in a course?

You have the option to incorporate a Google File into your course, either as a substitute for a video or as a complementary resource alongside it.

From the first section of your course creation page, you will see a field for a video and one for a Google File link. Paste your Google file link in and you will see it appear. Keep in mind the viewing permissions you selected on your file will be followed here as well.

The learner will see the Google file on the course page on the Learn side.

Google Slides

For Google Slides, you can paste the share link if you want the viewers to be able to see the edit view with the slides on the left side. If you would prefer to have the learners view them one slide at a time, you will use the publish link. For directions on how to publish your slides to the web, you can go to the course titled "Slide into Publishing".
