How can I select a date to release a course?

You have the ability to select a release date for a course at the bottom of your course creation page.

Why would you want to use the release date option?

• If you want courses to show up in a learning path, but you don't want learners to complete the course until after a certain date.
• You want to publish a learning path, but you haven't finished creating all of the courses. You can go ahead and publish the course, but select a future release date. This gives you time to finish creating the course, but the learners will not have the learning path marked complete when they finish the other courses that are in the learning path.
• You want learners to complete at specific intervals (weekly, monthly, etc).

Settings Page

• Scroll to the bottom of the course creation page and
• Enter the date you would like the course to be released. 

Learn Side

• Learners will still see the course in the learning path, when they roll their cursor over the the course, they will see the release date.
