How do you send Event updates?

If you are the event manager or presenter, you have the ability to send updates to the participants of your session.

 You may find this useful if the location or any event details change, you need to send reminders to bring a laptop or other materials, or you are given any additional details from a coordinator that may be helpful for the participants to know.

From the HQ Events Calendar page, click on the event for which you would like to send an update and click View.

Click the Updates tab on the left side of the screen, type your message that you would like to send and then choose to send this email to all invited participants or just those that have indicated that they will be attending.  It will also be posted on the event page when participants view the page.
