We have a few sample emails that you are welcome to use as needed.
You could introduce MobileMind at a staff meeting, but sometimes an email will do just as well. We encourage you to mention to your staff that one of the reasons for choosing to partner with MobileMind for professional learning is because you value their time and want them to have the ability to personalize their own PL. Many districts will have some open office hours where teachers can drop in either virtually or in person to get started with MobileMind. Try to make sure you are offering support to those that are a little anxious about using technology. Below you will find a few sample emails that you are welcome to use. Sample Email #1
Dear Teachers,
We have partnered with MobilMind Technologies in an effort to allow you to personalize your professional development to fit your own needs. With MobileMind you will be able to pick the micro-courses that will meet your specific needs for the areas where you feel you need the most development. You will login to MobileMind by [add if they will be logging in using ClassLink, Clever, or by clicking on the MobileMind extension]. When you first login to MobileMind, you will answer a few onboarding questions and you will have the opportunity to change your profile image. Once those questions are complete, a box will come up and allow you to click on the Welcome to MobileMind course. This is a quick course that will take you about five minutes to complete and will walk you through what MobileMind is and how it works! We highly recommend you take this course, it will only take a few minutes.

- A Chrome extension with bite-sized professional learning (under 5 minutes! ) to make learning convenient and efficien
- Hands-on challenges to make learning relevant and authentic for you and your students
- Personalized pathways so you get to guide your own learning

In the near future, our district will be creating professional learning courses that are specific to our school and/or district for you to complete that will [Add School Specific Information: goals and mission for this initiative, timeline, expectations, who will participate, etc]. We will communicate this information to you as we create these courses through MobileMind announcements that will be emailed to you and will be on your dashboard when you login. We will also be using MobileMind Events to register, track attendance, and give you PL credit, but don’t worry, we will walk you through all of that when the time comes! Please keep an eye out for an email with instructions on how you will login and begin your personalized professional development journey.

Sample Email #2: Short Intro Email

The first time you log in, you will only see the MobileMind Intro micro-course which will walk you through how to navigate the platform. Once you complete that micro-course, you will see the rest of the micro-courses appear. [School specific information: Reminder of your goal, timeline updates or reminders, expectation updates or reminders, any specific information about your domain such as what login credentials they will use, any specific dates that you need to include such as MobileMind’s Live webinars or a school wide live kickoff if you opted for

Please remember the expectation is that you complete [Insert School Specific Expectation] in order for us to reach our goal of [Insert School Specific Goal]. In an effort to encourage you to take advantage of our partnership with MobileMind, we are going to offer the following incentive; [Insert incentive you are willing to offer such as “For every ten micro-courses you complete, you will be given a coupon for a jeans day.” Incentive Ideas]. Please don’t hesitate to let any of us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Directions for logging into MobileMind if they are to load the extension themselves:
- Make sure you are in your Chrome browser.
- Click HERE to go to the Chrome Web Store for the MobileMind Extension and click Add to Chrome.
- Click on the puzzle piece to the right of your URL address bar and click the thumbtack next to the MobileMind extension icon to pin it to your toolbar.
- Click the extension and then click login with Google or Microsoft (district specific).
- Answer the onboarding questions (don't worry, there are only a few).
- You are now ready to get started!
