Absolutely! You can check the Exclude from Course Library at the bottom of your course creation page.
Why would you want to exclude a course from the library?
-
You want to drive the learners to a specific learning path or badge.
-
You want to make sure learners are working in a learning path so they will be included in a report. Excluding the courses in the learning path will force the learner to click the Start Learning Path button which ensures they are included in the report.
-
You have a learning path that has a prerequisite learning path. By excluding the courses from the library, learners will not be able to start a course from the learning path that has a prerequisite.
-
You want to show that courses are grouped together like a theme, a unit, or should be completed in a specific order.
-
You want to change who has access to these courses frequently. Exclude the courses from the library and just change the group on the Learning Paths you create.
