bonus content

Now that you have completed all of the previous courses, let's move on to some quick bonus content!

quick links

Quick Links creates a widget on your learners' dashboards that is a list of hyperlinks to websites they may need to visit quite often throughout the day or week. You could put links to sites such as attendance, request a substitute, or even tech tools that many teachers use throughout the day.

From your HQ Dashboard, click on Content, Create, and then Quick Links Widget.

1- HQ dash QL

Type in the name of the website, highlight it, and click the hyperlink icon.

2- QL 1

Paste or type the website URL and click Save.

Do this for any websites you would like to add.

3- QL 2

Make sure the Show in Learn App button is green. The first time you create your Quick Links widget, it will say Publish in the upper right. After that, you will see the word Save.

announcements

Announcements can be used for so many different things! You can choose the type of announcement you want to send and easily hyperlink anything from courses and learning paths to any external links you may need to send to your faculty and staff. The best news is you can choose to send this as an email, post it to their dashboard, or both!

Once you are done creating your announcement, click Publish in the upper right or you can save it as a draft if you aren't quite ready for it to be posted on the dashboard.
