tips

Following these guideline will give your learners the best possible experience.

GC- video aqua

We recommend that videos be no longer than five minutes to maximize engagement. If a course is going to be a lot longer, consider naming it a "macro-course".

GC- WHY green

In the Learn Section, start with the core "WHY" so that learners understand the intention behind the instruction. Tell the learners what they will be able to do after they complete this course.

GC- numbered list aqua

Be very clear in your teacher instructions (and reviewer instructions if applicable), and number the steps when there are several. You can list these in the Apply Section, but the Question Section is where it will show up in the challenge window.

GC- Skills Green

When choosing the challenge submission types, carefully consider the skills/knowledge you wish to assess as well as the number of reviewers you have available and how many learners will be completing this course.

GC- reources aqua

Leverage the Additional Resources and Related Courses features to extend and remediate when possible. It is also a great idea to mention any related courses in the additional resources.
