What steps do I need to take prior to uploading our users into MobileMind?
In an effort to make onboarding your learners smooth and efficient, we recommend doing the following prior to uploading your users.
- Set time zone, school year dates, and school day hours in your org settings. (Your school year will need to be updated every year.) The time zone for MobileMind defaults to eastern. Once you change it in your org settings, it will be set to that for any NEW users. Any users that were already added will need to change their time zone from their profile page on the Learn side.
- Add partner content from the ReadyMade Marketplace so your learners have content to choose from when they login.
- Send an email to learners explaining what MobileMind is and what your expectations are. (Click HERE for example emails.)
- Decide who will have HQ roles and what they will be. For example, who will be your content creators and/or event schedulers? (Click HERE for a strategy doc.)
- Create any district specific categories for your creators to choose from. Click HERE for more on how to create and manage categories.
- Create any Credit Types if your district is choosing to use them.
- Create any Standards if your district is choosing to use those.
